Greetings Fellow Yogis,
I hope this finds you well. It’s been such a long while since I’ve written. I’ve had some pretty big life changes, and was waiting until I felt settled with those until I reached out.
I’ve also let go of social media. I haven’t been on either my personal or business Facebook account since November, and only hop on Instagram about once a week. It was becoming a drain on my nervous system, and once I let it go I felt quiet and more at peace.
I find in 2020 that I’m feeling more trust and less need to seek or strive in all areas of my life. This deepens my connection to the natural flow and order of life. I feel more rested and receptive.
The biggest change is that I was offered a teaching job in a severely autistic high school classroom. I said yes! Now I am the lead teacher of four amazing autistic students and the commander in chief of three aides. It’s a new world to work in, one that’s both challenging and rewarding.
I still teach two weekly Yoga classes in downtown Santa Cruz. I am currently launching my first 300 Hour Yoga Alliance Training in March. Paula Horvath from Wild Roots Yoga and I have teamed up together to make this course happen!
For now Santa Cruz is still a happy place. Living here keeps life interesting for sure, it feeds my soul, and supports me growing and learning in ways that I feel can help me better serve you and continue to offer heartfelt embodied Yoga Practices.
The weekly Bliss and Yin classes at Village Yoga in downtown Santa Cruz are my staple.
